Message from the Director
In recent years the world has faced difficult times, uncertainty, and frustration, many people lost their sources of income, loved ones, health, and tranquility, somehow this crisis affected us all. That is why Gruminex, being a company that seeks to position itself as a leader in the development of EPCM ( Engineering, procurement, and construction management) in the Mexican Republic and based on our core values of leadership, responsibility, courtesy, loyalty, honor, compassion, courage, and respect, has taken the initiative to generate a Code of ethics and conduct that transmits what we firmly believe, internally with our collaborators, externally to our strategic allies (clients) and socially to our community.
I feel very grateful because this crisis showed us how strong we can be, and we take responsibility before society in general, managing support for our communities, and our people. So today I wholeheartedly invite our entire team to continue supporting these efforts, to flow, with courtesy, courage, and respect, to unite as before to continue advancing steadily and growing by supporting each other. Eng. Cynthia Villa
General Manager
Civil Engineer by profession from the Instituto Tecnologico de Sonora, with 15 years of experience in project management in the mining industry, is a founding partner and general manager of Gruminex, Soluciones para Minería, a company focused on developing EPCM Projects at a national level, it has a team work with more than 30 years of experience in the industry and collaborates with companies such as Grupo Mexico, first Majestic, Endeavor Silver, Peñoles, Fresnillo, Agnico Eagle, among others, is also a founding partner of the company GL Detect (first company in Mexico to perform leak detection services in geomembranes), in addition to this is an active member of the AIMMGM (Asociación de Ingenieros Mineros Metalurgistas y Geologos de México, WIM (Woman in Mining) and actively collaborates in the sustainability commission of the Cluster Minero de Sonora. It promotes the inclusion of new professional talents, thus opening annual opportunities for recently graduated in her companies.
As a business developer, she actively collaborates in seminars and business meetings with embassies and international events such as ProChile, RedexChile, PromPeru, Peru Service Summit, SaskTrade Virtual Showcase, and Expo Seguridad Industrial, among others where she seeks to make strategic alliances with companies and national and foreign organizations in favor of the generation of innovation services in the Mexican Republic, has actively collaborated in national and international projects in the mining industry, such is the case of mines as Campo Morado, Luz del Cobre Piedras Verdes in Mexico, as well as in Cerro Negro project in Argentina.
Eng. Juan Carlos Bagnod
Technical Manager
Mechanical Engineer by profession from the Instituto Tecnologico de Hermosillo, with 32 years of experience in projects in the mining industry, he’s a founding partner and technical manager of Gruminex, Soluciones para Minería a company focused on developing EPCM Projects at a national level, it has a team work with more than 30 years of experience in the industry and collaborates with companies such as Grupo Mexico, first Majestic, Endeavor Silver, Peñoles, Fresnillo, Agnico Eagle, among others is also a founding partner of the company GL Detect (first company in Mexico to perform leak detection services in geomembranes), in addition to this is an active member of the AIMMGM (Asociación de Ingenieros Mineros Metalurgistas y Geologos de México.
